BRZ - NC Miata Size Comparison - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

My friend and I have two very popular cars for autocross. I was always curious as to how big of a difference in size there was. When looked at individually, the BRZ/FR-S seems to be much larger than the mx-5. Thus, I wanted to do a comparison between the 2 cars.

Both cars are bone stock.

Use the parking lines as reference points. Lines were placed in the center of both cars on both axes.

Beautiful pics! Car's aren't too much different in size. the BRZ/FR-S is expected to be larger due to backseat though.

I'd love to buy a Miata......if they made a coupe and all the options to put it on par with the BRZ didn't make it cost more than the BRZ......

Mazda is showing off a tuned-up edition of the Miata, dubbed the Miata GT, off at car shows. The carmaker is mulling if they should put it into production. Production run of MX-5 Miata GT mulled by Mazda. Mazda is also looking for any potential customer reactions, so the sportier model may hit the production line in the future. There are also roll hoops and road slick tires for anyone looking to pick up a track toy.
