17x8 +48, what tire fits in front?

Not buying wheels this year, but the ones I really like are 17x8 +48. I plan on installing an FI kit when one is available and would like to buy 1 set of summer wheels though. So my plan is to run 225 tire and when I add power increase to 235 or maybe 245. Would 245 fit the front on stock suspension with these wheel specs?

This help?

(17x8+53) (235/45R17)

"How much more room is left on the front between the strut and tire? -- Nothing. Maybe 1/8in. I don't know if these tires run big or small, so there's obviously that to consider as well."

Crap I was going to order 245's thinking they would fit.

I assume all of this is based off of offsets etc.

I have 235/40/18 on my 18x8 +48 wheels. The tires are 1/4" from hitting the front struts.

yeah, u have to use 225 tires. 245 is too wide .... unless u lower the offset to push the wheels out toward the fender, but then u have to deal with poking.
