What is the offset of the wheels?

I think it is the tire you are using. Maybe a 235/40 would have been better and not hit. I could be wrong though.

Also, that tire is about two inches taller than the OEM tire. If you want a 245, get a 245/35.

I had a 245/35/18 on a 9" +35 wheel for a summer, and it worked great. It is a bit thin in sidewall for my taste though--glad to have gone meatier since. My money would be on the Michelin PSS in 235/40 now, or the Kuhmo Evo v2 if there was a budget to consider...

Ended up with 235/40 and its a great fit. Wheels are Enkei Raijin 18x8.5+45, people have posted the 245/45 would fit no problem, but not for me.
