HID RF shielding
Greetings everyone,
I am apparently having trouble with my HID ballasts in that they are producing RF interference which is screwing up with some of the sensors and throwing me a CEL. Being that I'm on a Jackson Racing Supercharger kit... having screwy STFT/LTFT is not a good thing. So I need your help.... Is there anything that I can do to wrap the ballasts in something that will help keep the RF interference down? I know the other option is to replace all 4 of my HID ballasts (headlights & foglights) with OEM spec HID ballasts. But that will be around $300 each ballast (total of $1200). And I really don't have that kind of money right now.

OEM's are less than $200... Good aftermarket that won't have the issues are about $100.
