GT86 TRD review by Paul Woodford (Sky Motorsports Presenter)

Loaned my GT86 TRD to friend who is a sky motorsports presenter here in the UK
He did a quick video story/review and blogged about it..

I told him to be honest and wouldn't be offended if he hated it (fully confident of course that he wouldn't). It's not all positive but he did totally fall in love with it by the end of the days filming.

Good little review. Was thinking throughout most of that piece that the majority of the stuff being said was nothing new. Most automotive journalists have said the same about the power, chassis and interior.

But I really liked the sign off point about deciding whether or not to buy one. When you own one, every time you hear other people talk about their cars and their more powerful engines, you have that nagging back of your mind feeling that you've made the wrong decision. But then when it's just you and a good stretch of road and no traffic, you fall in love with the car all over again.

On a side note though. James May wants his shirt back

I had few stretches of road like that this weekend on along trip to the coast (filey), safe to say I don't think I made a wrong decision
