Anyone parting out a GBS BRZ?

I need a rear bumper cover in GBS.

Or anyone have a good source for having a new cover painted and end up with a good match?

Who has experience with buying enough GBS paint from Subaru to paint just the cover?
How much does a gallon cost $1k ?

Looking for options.
I was backing the car into the garage to escape the torrential downpour/hail we had yesterday and hit the garage.
Important safety tip - wipe off the mirrors FIRST!!
Figures - trying to save the car from hail damage just to submit it to "stupid human damage".
Should have just let it sit in the hail.

Just take the car to a reputable shop. It shouldn't be hard to match GBS and the damage shouldn't be that bad if you were just reversing the car

You know a GBS BRZ and Ultramarine FRS uses the same color code. For the most part the only difference between the FRS and BRZ is the front bumper, lights, and springs. So you can pretty much interchange the part from an FRS.

How bad is it Stu? is it something that you could just touch up with a spray can (of the right colour of course)?

The damage is cosmetic only. I hit the brick wall and compressed the bumper cover to within 1/4" of hitting the tail light.
It popped back perfectly so the only remaining damage is to the paint and associated gouges.

I could go the cheaper route and get someone to fill and paint match it, but my deductible is only $250.
I am waiting to hear if the ins. company would replace the entire bumper cover with new, or go cheap on me and try to get it fixed.

I got a quote form the dealer for $760 brand new piece painted and installed.
I cant imagine that the ins. company can do much better than that (price-wise) trying to just fix it.
I have hard time believeing that any reputable paint company would do ANY job for less than $300-400 no matter how small.

Bump - anyone know a good nation-wide used parts house that would search for a totaled BRZ for me?

Anyone have access to a national database of used parts?

I am positive that SOMEWHERE out there is a GBS sitting in a salvage lot with a perfectly good rear bumper cover on it.

There MUST be someone who works in autosalvage that has access to a database of wrecked cars nationwide!!

If there isnt such a database, someone needs to start one.
Like Angie'slist for salvage yards - what they specialize in etc.
The local pick-U-Part has an online searchable database, why not a nationwide one?
