FS: Jackson Racing Supercharger

Hello all, I have to decided to move on from the 86 platform and have chosen to sell my Jackson Racing Supercharger.

I am the second owner of this kit but the kit still has very low miles. The original owner said the kit was only on his car for about 3000 miles and I have only used the kit for a few hundred miles.

The kit is still in like new condition and comes with most necessary components. The only parts that will be needed are:

Jackson Racing CARB tune - $350
Jackson Racing Rotrex Supercharger oil - $99.00

These items can be purchased from Jackson Racing directly or from other Dealers (CounterSpaceGarage).

I am selling this kit because I am trading my BRZ in for a Hyundai Genesis V6. The extra power this kit gave my BRZ was just what the car needed and is perfect for nearly all driving applications.

The kit is currently being taken off of my car by a professional shop and I can supply additional pictures after it has been removed if requested.

Product notes from CounterSpaceGarage:
"Yorba Linda, California (October 15, 2013) – World leading supercharger experts Jackson Racing are proud to announce their new supercharger system for the Scion FR-S & Subaru BRZ is now available from $3995USD. The Jackson Racing FR-S/BRZ supercharger system delivers an impressive 50% increase in HP and 45% increase in TQ over stock! The power and torque delivery of the Jackson Racing supercharger system gives the FR-S/BRZ the perfect balance of power and handling. The Rotrex C30-94 supercharger provides a strong and smooth power band, while also maintaining perfect drivability and excellent fuel economy. Also, the Jackson Racing intercooler system is unique in the FR-S/BRZ market and has been engineered for proper bolt-on fitment.

The Jackson Racing FR-S/BRZ supercharger system has been extensively tested in all weather conditions to ensure factory drivability, excellent fuel economy, and proper emissions are retained while giving a substantial boost in performance. This includes not only the components in the system, but the Jackson Racing ECU calibration. The provided Jackson Racing ECU calibration is the product of hundreds of hours of dyno testing and thousands of miles of road and track testing. The Jackson Racing developed ECU calibration features proprietary tuning developments giving the supercharger system drivability equal to a factory vehicle. No hesitations, no hiccups, no band aids… Just a completely solid car. And just like our CARB-Legal CR-Z and Civic R18 systems, we are in process of getting the FR-S/BRZ system CARB-Legal!

“We knew the FR-S/BRZ platform would be a perfect match with our powerful, fuel efficient, emissions legal supercharger systems. After the 15,000+ miles of drivability and durability testing we have been through with the FR-S/BRZ supercharger system over the past year, it is hard to imagine the car without it,” said Oscar Jackson Sr., President and Chief Engineer of Jackson Racing. “When you buy from Jackson Racing you get over 30 years of experience in building high quality performance products and Championship winning engineering. All our system testing includes long, hard miles on the street as well as racetrack abuse in the hot California desert. It is crucial for us test and abuse our products beyond even what our customers would. We drive our cars daily just like our customers, so our products must be built to the highest quality standards.”

Oscar Jackson Jr. adds, “Our FR-S/BRZ supercharger system is powerful yet drivable, making this car easy to drive at the racetrack. You can now steer the car with the throttle effortlessly and the power is seamless all the way to redline. The FR-S/BRZ is a great car stock, but once you drive one with the Jackson Racing system you realize this is how it should have come from the factory!”

Is the warranty transferable? What about the EcuTek (sp?) cable and license, wouldn't the new owner need those as well?

I'd also be worried about buying from a guy trading in a BRZ for a genesis coupe .

The warranty is not transferrable but I have seen some terrific support from CSG and Jackson racing in the short time I've had the kit from installation and noob questions. The EcuTek cable comes with the kit, along with the carb sticker but the license for the included tune needs to be repurchased. In the pricing section of the listing, I state that even after the license and supercharger oil are replaced, there is still a savings of almost 800$ and there is no wait for shipping. My shop has the kit off today and it would ship out by early next week.

And in reference to getting the gen coupe, I know its a pig but I like the bigger size, interior materials and the v6. I will sorely miss the brz because it was my baby but this was decided between me and my fiance as a fun car but with a little more space and luxury. Mountain runs have become less of a priority but I still wanna keep the spirit of a rear wheel drive car.

I definitely don't compare it to the fun of the brz but I'd equate it more to a g35/37

If I didn't get the FR-S, I probably would have gotten the Coupe. It's pretty quick and I love how it looks. It's also got much more practicality than say the Twins or a Miata :p

If I had the money I'd buy this from you, but until I do GLWS!

When I test drove the gen coupe, I could really feel the extra weight, especially just coming out of a brz. The gears change much slower and the turning is something that I really have to get used to. On the flip side, being able to fit more than a child in the back is nice and being able to fit actual luggage (2-3 weeks worth) in the truck is nice too.

Damn...talking about the brz like this is really making me sad I'm letting go lol.

I really don't care for the look or handling of the gen coupe, however it is definitely more roomy and practical in that sense. Much better interior too,

I've already got a game plan for what I want to do with the gen to make it more....striking. Its funny but on the brz and FRS, I love the lightning red/firestorm but the red color for the gen I just could not love. Ended up getting a white one and am going with and white/black motif.

Like this...eventually
