Frs to brz headlight swap?
Has anyone done this swap by re-pinning the body Harness to a 8 pin. I have seen many threads about re-pinning the headlight but I just purchased brz lights and also purchased the 90980-10897 connectors. I am hoping to find someone that has a clear pin out of the body harness from frs to brz pin out. Also I would like to use the brz blinker location not the frs.

I've done it:
 Attached are the wiring diagrams l made by looking at the FRS (worked for me as the GT and FRS share similar wiring) and BRZ technical manuals. Good luck! |

My car (a GT model) came with a 6 pin, l rewired it to connect to the 8 pin BRZ harness. So essentially 8 pin harness to the 8 pin BRZ Headlight connector.
As for the indicator/blinker, l'm still using the standard FRS/GT blinker, but you can easily source the indicator wire and hook it up to the 8pin BRZ harness. |

Thanks I think I'm going to try to split the loom and rob the indicator wire for the brz light. Probably leave the other wires and turn the stock indicator to a fog light.

Just curious did the gt come with the day time running lamp resistor?
Trying to figure out what to do with it |
