Thumbs down Don't use ShipNex

Hi all,

Just wanted to give my feedback on this wholesale shipping company. I recently shipped 4 tires using them since their quote was less than UPS or FedEx. Thought it was a bit weird that they could offer lower prices while still using UPS and FedEx. I had given them all the required information that I had about the tires including correct dimensions and weight back in March when the tires were sold/shipped. Today I woke up to an email saying that I had received an invoice from them. Turns out UPS charged them an additional $36 a month and a half later and they are now billing me for it...

It would have been better to go through UPS or FedEx directly since I now have to eat that cost. Not that big of a deal in this case, could have been worse!

I used Shipnex to ship wheels and tires cross country, and was very painless transaction, all went according to plan. No extra fees or anything.

So sorry to hear your bad experience, that really sucks. You should fight the charges back.. it's their mistake if they didn't charge you properly...

They can have a business account which has discounted business rates for ups shipping.
They need to let you know why there is an additional charge, sometimes it could be a overweight charge(they weighed it wrong) or a packaging problem(straps that get stuck in a machine), or even a oversize charge or they measured the dimensions wrong. In the end they need to let you know why you are being charged more. If anything you already had the service done and you don't need them anymore, so their bill is their problem when they used their account. Up to you if you want to pay.
