Modellista body kit

I was thinking about just getting the Modellista body kit because to me, it looks great and doesn't make the car look too "ricey" IMO. Just thoughts, yay or ney?

Its your car, its ultimately your decision.

Personally, I like it. It kind of exaggerates the car's original features and doesn't turn it into some god awful Lexus wannabe.

In my opinion the Modellista side skirts, and lip make the nimble little car look too chunky, but to each their own - I'm rockin' the Modellista tail light covers, and their shark fin antenna (which is by far my favorite out there ), and the parts are of great quality.

Also, for those that need a visual reference to the kit that the OP is talking about -

do it if you have wheels and coilovers.
don't do it if you have stock wheels and stock suspension.

TRD and Modellista are both by far my favorite kits for the FR-S.

Would it be alright with TRD lowering springs?

That is your call. But don't do it on stock wheels. You are better off spending that money on wheels/good tires.
Also take note that these kits aren't cheap ~1500-1800+shipping and you need to paint it which is another 500+
And they will make your car ~2 inches lower + the 1" or so with the springs.

Post a pic of your car as it stands now.

Don't listen to Itsuki, he doesn't know much about cars. Your better off maybe hitting up the Gunma area and trying to find someone there with better knowledge

Don't do it unless you have wheels. Or you will be like this guy.

I have the lip and side skirts, shipping took forever but I'm happy so far. Haven't installed the skirts yet but will this week. Just know that with it you will have to drill because the holes in the wheel well do not line up with the factory holes.

I'm going to take a wild guess that he set the angle of attack on that wing by saying "looks good" rather than aerodynamic calculations or iterative testing.
