EcuTek on Macbook??

just wonder if you can run a Proecu for the EcuTek software on Macbook? and is there an installation guide for download software, loaded the tune to and then tune the ecu?? i will be using Moto-east tune and never done it before. thanks

I don't think that is is OS X compatible. What I did was I installed windows 8 using parallels VM to be able to use EcuTek.

I've got it on my Mac book air, however you need to run Bootcamp with Windows 7 or newer to make it work. I've heard if you just use virtual machine running Windows you'll eat licenses, so don't use VM.

On top of possibly eating licenses, running Windows via Parallels can corrupt the tune during a flash, and often corrupts datalogs when you try to run them. We've been down that road hopeful that it would work seamlessly, but it ends up being more of a headache. Much easier to just run bootcamp at that point, which is what we do at the office here with our Macs.
