FRS test Drive

Many posts like this so I will keep it short. Drove the FRS tonight and all in all it's an excellent package. Super tidy dimensions, usable trunk, somewhat usable backseat (Im 5'7", dealer was 6'0" and he could sit behind me no problem) shifter...is....FANTASTIC, could not believe how crisp and direct it felt, really short throws too...fantastic shifter. Car built up revs quite nicely, but was a bit underwhelmed by the lack of torque in the city (drove a friends GTI last night, which is more daily friendly power). Interior is somewhat impressive actually, guages look great, fantastic seats, good view out the windshield, A-pilars are perfect size.

For me the most disappointing thing really was the sound...would definitely want something aftermarket via I/H/E.

Can't really comment on the handling...didn't really get to take it anywhere to really push the limits...suspension was really taught but not punishing...accidentally went over a railway a bit too hot, and it didn't rattle the car too badly....Excellent brakes!

Can't really find a car like this on the market (brand new) for the money! Excellent work Toyota.
