Not sure if you can still use the cup holder. Anyone tried this yet?

As for cup holders in general @center console, imho they were hardly but somewhat usable only in frontmost position. Too far to lean to side/back to reach cups from holders placed almost behind the seat. Door bottle holders are way more usable in this regard, even though limited to which types those can hold. Hence even cleaner way imho would be to completely close hole in center console with armests like this, maybe even with leaving those almost unusable anyway holders at home for less dust gathering/rattle/weight to bring along when driving.
