Hands too large

So it's 3am and I've spent the last 4 hours cutting open my tail lights to paint them. After several failed attempts to tape up the reflective shrouds, I've determined that my hands are too large and I do not have the patience to tape straight lines so the paint will look professional and I've decided to call on my 86 brothers/sisters.

If anyone has done this before, or has small fingers and could help me simply tape up the parts I don't want painted, I'd be willing to trade for a lunch and beer, or skill trade of some type. I've got a jack with stands and can help you install your parts or any other skill you'd like to trade for.

This is what I'm painting:

Here is where I'm taping:

Have you tried using toothpicks? Just stick one to each end of a short strip. Position them where you want it, press the center in, and roll the toothpicks outward. This type of work shouldn't require long strips of tape so just layer it a few times if needed, which is what you should do anyway...

Use wrap. don't paint 'em.
I've done it both ways and got better results just using 3M satin black wrap film.
