How much to repair this??

I decided to park in a spot way too tight and got this scrape on the curb. It wouldn't bother me if it was underneath the bumper, but its very visible every time I walk up to my car .

Does anyone know how much a body shop would charge to fix this? I was looking at the bayson r sti replica front lip but it doesn't seem like it would cover the scrape completely..

Wear it like a badge for owning a car with a low stock bumper height. We all have these types of scrapes.

I'd try and find a front lip that will cover it...

but you'll have to adjust your driving style, as the lip will make the front of the car even lower

I have it worse than that from some wheel well ice that was froze to the ground and hidden under the fresh snow.
I plan on doing the same as the guy in the attached thread. He seemed successful and it cost about $50 to order the paint I need. If you are at all inclined it should work fine being so low.

Or...if you want a nice lip that will cover it this one looks good (and according to @Choco it is pretty bendy if you hit things)

I want a more low profile lip though like the forcewerkz v2. I think it looks cleaner. And I might try that $50 fix but I am scared it'll look worse haha.

That is the beauty of it being low. As long as it is even close nobody will ever notice it but you.

I got the Gracer lip posted up there to cover the multiple scrapes of that nature that I've acquired. Considering that getting someone to repaint the bumper over and over gets expensive, it seemed to be the most reasonable course to take.

This works very well, I did something similar to the exact same damage seen and the repair is holding up great. Blending it properly takes patience and in my case wetsanding/lots of polishing

That is what I was thinking. Wouldn't try it in the middle of the hood or anything but down there I figured would be fine.

Shouldn't cost more than $100 to get it fixed. PM me if you want me to set you up with a bodyshop

Crazy I was just watching your track video as you responded. Nice driving! I just ordered some paint matched can and clear coat, as well as plastic weld. Gonna try a DIY but I'll hit you up if it ends up shitty lol. Thanks though. I got quoted $200 at some body shop..

Hey thanks!! Repairing it yourself should be just fine. Especially with where the damage is on the car, nobody will ever notice if it doesn't come out perfect! Make sure to only sand/paint the area below the body line, and make the body line the point where you blend the clear. If you do anything above that body line it may become noticeable.

Good luck, you should be fine!
