Thoughts on JDM parts

So my bf is going to Japan next week for a few days and asked if I wanted anything for my car (2015 BRZ). My question is, are there any parts for my car actually worth buying there and bringing back in a suitcase vs ordering online from japanparts or something? I'm looking at price, time, difficulty/hassle/weight. Obviously he can't stuff a set of wheels or huge aero parts into a case.

Really don't know unless you have a price list to see if it is "worth" it. I would look for stuff that isn't on japan parts. One offs, special orders, japan only stuff. I would look for stickers, clothing, accessories, interior stuffs.

A whole tS! Try and stuff it in a suitcase!
Realistically, I think Japanparts' prices are pretty decent. They might get wholesaler discount on parts and shipping that normal people won't get. Then again, I'm just speculating right now. If it's possible send him with a list of things you want with the price shipped from Japanparts and compare it with what he finds. If the parts he finds are much cheaper it might be worth it to pay the extra luggage fee.

I would look out for vehicle specific decals in Japanese. And stuff like Japanese license plate frames, Japanese key chains, dealer mugs, posters and such.
Things that are hard to find here and are easy to transport in a suitcase.
