mcgard spline lugs on OEM wheels
Will McGard spline drive lugs fit on OEM wheels?
I want to upgrade from the oem lugs that it came with. I wasn't able to find anything when I searched, amazon.com reviews says some people were able to use them on their oem sti wrx wheels ok, couldn't find anything on oem fit for brz/frs |

Cool, thanks. Does the mcgard wheel lock also fit on the oem brz wheels too?
I think both the mcgard and oem lugs are 60 degree conical? Did you have any trouble or minor fitting/threading issues when putting your mcgard spline lugs on your oem wheels? Or were they a perfect fit |

I put them on with my oem wheels for a few days before I got new wheels installed. I had no issues at all. I opted to go without the locks, but I don't see why they would be an issue. The diameter should be the same.

The Mcgard locking nut fits where the others do. I would skip the locking nut to be honest. I had them, and they sucked. They also do not have the 2 piece design as the regulars do(unless the design changed recently).

No fitting or thread issues, they fit perfectly, I change my wheels for different track events on a weekly basis. The only weak point is the spline drive key, and I ordered a spare one of those in case the original gets broken. |
