ST Coilovers in Canada?

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone here is using ST Coilovers or any non-stainless steel coilovers in Canada. Planning to get ST coilovers but scared of the steel finish. I DD my car all year round and was wondering if just applying some rust protection on the st coils will protect it against rust/seizing during winter.

Thanks

Can't help you wish ST specifically, but my GodSpeeds were in the elements this winter and they look pretty good. They could use a cleaning, but there's no glaring rust on them. Might be best off to get something with a coating if you're not dead set on the ST's

I have ST's and drove them all winter. I put some Rust Check on them (Green can) and they look like new (after I took it off with brake clean). However, I will be putting my stocks on next year I think. The coils didn't like our -20* to -30* winter. They would stiffen up and ride fairly harsh, once it warmed up it rides very well.

Plus, with this chassis I think it is a bit sketchy haha I track and have good car control. However, I definitely wouldn't let my mom drive this in the winter :p So be careful!
