This is long, and probably boring for most, but this is as much for me as it is for anyone else to read. It's a place to plan my build and help remind me of what I came from and what I want from this car and how far I plan to take it.

So I've had my eye on this car since it was first announced and rumors started to spread, but was never in a position to buy one until a couple years back. At that time, about May 2013, the horsepower bug bit hard. Lots of friends, family and coworkers had muscle cars and other big American V8's. After months of research and test drives, I settled on the BMW 135i. The 2011 DCT one to be exact. Looked pretty good, IMO.

But as time passed, I wanted to do what I do with everything in my life, I wanted to tinker with it, I wanted to mod and improve it. Well modding BMW's isn't impossible, it's just expensive, and the aftermarket for a car that only ran for about 7 years in the states, and is now discontinued was scarce to say the least. About a year ago though my friend, @tyrantcf on here, had decided to get a new car himself, and spent a similar amount of time researching and test driving. He ended up with his WRB 2014 BRZ. Suffice to say, it wasn't long before his finished mod list grew and so did my jealousy of the ease in which it did.

So about two months ago, I finally bit the bullet. Put my car up for sale and began the search. I joined the forums and found what I'd been looking for, an active community, and a massive yet affordable aftermarket.

Late in February I bought my 2013 Sterling Silver Metallic Limited BRZ. Actually turned out to be a former forum member's car I was looking to buy before he traded it in. I picked it up from a dealer down south.

When I got the car, it was in pretty rough shape. I didn't realize how bad some things were, but I've learned that most used cars will suffer from various unexpected issues so I wasn't too put-off by this. Most weren't serious, just time consuming.
Here's most of the issues: Missing front bumper cover. Many interior trim pieces were wrapped in an odd blueish fake carbon fiber vinyl wrap, others were wrapped in what would appear to be Michael's craft store style felt adhesive. That's all been removed and cleaned. The gas cap had carbon fiber overlay vinyl, also removed. It had some minor dents and dings, all repaired or in the process of. Lastly the car was poorly debadged, the rear trunk trim and badge were pretty much ruined. Finally, it's been returned to stock form, and will be given the proper treatment it deserves. I'll be waxing and buffing the paint soon and will have some decent pictures to put up of it once I get that done.

I have some grand plans for this car. I want to keep it for as long as I can, and watch it grow and improve over time. So far I've enjoyed working on it, even though much of my time has been simply returning it to stock.
Now to the good part. What I've done will be first, and what I plan to do will come after, with pics and links mixed throughout where appropriate.
