Quiet FI

At some point I would like to FI my FRS, however I do not care for the loud 'everyone look at me, I have the loudest BOV ever made'. so was wondering what some good options are as far as being quiet/sleeper like would be. I would like something 250-300 WHP and wouldn't care if it was turbo or super charged. just a fun weekend car.

AVO? That's why I got mine, largely in part due to the discreet / sleeper option...

I may have to go with that then, I have read a lot of good things with the AVO kits.

I have the PTuning turbo kit with JDL UEL header and Milltek non-resonated exhaust. It's not much louder than stock... I registered 93db at Laguna Seca going WOT uphill in the upper RPM range. The kit comes with a Turbosmart BOV which is not loud either.

Get the avo kit if you own a flat grinder and dont like power.

I recommend you look at Ptuning, Rev Works, RP, FBM or P&L. Or SBD if you want a cheaper option. There are ways to keep it quiet, stock exhaust, get a recirculating BOV, dont run an Open Wastegate, don't limit your kit selection just by how much noise it makes.

Its coming as soon as this snow melts haha and I can pull my car out the garage: D . I will say I don't have personal experience with the avo kit, just from my research and what other people have said.

I just wanted to point out there are other alternatives you can look at.

So you don't have any experience with ANY of these kits, don't have yours boosted but yet you have a right to an opinion based on hearsay? And all the other kits make more power? Based on ... hearsay too or do you have proof? Apples to apples comparo or 92 Octane vs E85?

Nice to be accountable and talk smack without repercussion.

I retract my statement, I did not see the part where OP mentioned he only wanted 250-300 hp.

The other kits make power, I've seen all but RP and Rev Works ones in person and have ridden in those cars. My car is boosted, just awaiting a tune.

I should've worded my first comment differently especially because I have no personal experience with the kit myself.

Please OP, consider other options as well, if I was in your situation, I would go with the SBD kit just due to the price difference. I can't speak as to the quality of it but I've heard nothing but good things, the only thing I would change about it is using a DEI blanket on the hot side instead the heat shield they have

JRSC with CARB tune. No headaches with that tune and get a good installer. Don't put exhaust/headers on your car and you'll only hear the slight whine during boost. I'm sure this applies to many other kits but reliability is always up to the tune/install.

Im right though. The avo kit as well as the SBD come with turbos good for 275-300 horsepower. Especially for the price. Throw 500 more on top of the avo kit's price and buy P&Ls kit with room for more power.
Like I said I didnt see the part where OP only wants 270-300 horsepower. I apologized for that.

Also makes "great power" is subjective just because you feel its great power someone else might not feel the same.
