anyone added nav to an fr-s?

Has anyone on here added nav to their fr-s yet? I would like to add it to mine but Im not sure what will be the best unit. Would the scion nav from the tc/xb work? Does the vehicle have the same radio plugs as the other scions/toyotas?

Thanks for any help

I'm looking at adding an in-dash GPS navigation unit. I had the Alpine unit in my 2010 tC and was very happy with it's performance. It would probably fit, but I'm not sure it is a full double din in height, or the head unit opening in the tC was larger than standard. There was this weird little fill-in strip above the unit.
I'm looking at the Alpine INE-S920HD for the larger touch screen.

I'm 99.5% sure the opening in the FR-S/BRZ is the same as the TC opening. So you might be able to re-use your dash kit trim.

iOS 6 maps announcement today trumped any desire I had to get a nav unit. I already have a phone, I don't need something else.

I was looking at that Pioneer head unit as well! Does anybody know how to take out the stock deck? and is does the stock wiring harness from the FRS match any other Scion as I am sure they dont make an aftermarket wiring harness yet and I'm not going to chop wires. ?

Yes its the same harness as the Tc, I used my 10' Tc stereo harness and dash kit.
