The FR-S vs winter 2015

Look at her! She looks like she took a right hook in the face! And she's stuck in 10" of fluff.

This is my 3rd winter in the scion and my 17th winter and I can't remember the last time I got stuck before, this year I must have got stuck 7 times - it's pathetic lol.

I freaking miss summer. How are you all doing those driving their cars in this shit winter?

My car is allegedly painted red. Hard to tell under the layer of dried salt.

Otherwise, doing just fine!

I have a silver car and thanks to this winter, my 86 is now white. I even have a white diffuser now!

So far I have:
New graphics on the hood that make me feel like I am going faster!

The very rare Lava leopard spot pattern on the sides!

And you know those big chunks of ice that fall out of wheel wells? They will mess you up when they are frozen to the ground and hidden under fresh snow!!!

Winter's been fun but

Car was raven, now white. Tonnes of fun in the snow. Have to admit looking forward to traction time of year and hanging out Friday nights with the rest of the Ottawa members to all the goodies they have done to the cars. I feel bad for anyone on the east coast as it has been especially harsh this winter. Only a few more weeks to go.

That right there are the things that keep me awake at night, and ridiculously vigilant on the roads. Seriously, I am that idiot that will swerve around the larger chunks and cringe like I'm about to have a splinter pulled whenever I drive over a chunk that is just a *little* too high.

Your optimism is adorable. I'm gearing up for snowy, cold weather through the end of May at this point.

Nailed that one pulling into a parking space. The noise sounded like the whole bumper came apart. Oh well, slap a lip on it and no one but me will ever know.
I dodge them on the highway and have smacked a few but so far no marks from them. That one would have ben fine as well but we went from a relatively warm day to a record cold over night so it was frozen to the ground rock solid.

I actually started driving mine this winter, the blower makes it harder to modulate the throttle on slippery surfaces due to that extra torque.

I bought mine brand new last summer and planned on using it as a daily this winter. Never got stuck or had any problems here in North Dakota. Sadly someone did this in the parking lot at work. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424926157.954635.jpg

And a cracked windshield and rock chips from constant interstate driving to get home to Montana. Still pretty impressed how well she handles in the ND/MT winters given decent snow tires. After the rock chips I've decided to buy a cheaper daily for winters and interstate driving.

I do this too if I can't swerve and have to drive over it...being lowered is doesn't help either...I think our bumpers (FR-S) are higher in the front so when I go over it my bumper is fine but you hear the CLUNK when it hits the underpanels haha...*sigh*

btw...2nd winter in the FR-S...only got stuck once
