carbon fibre hood on black brz

Hey guys,

read that a few of you wanted some pictures of a black frs/brz with a carbon fibre hood, well thanks to hail damage I am here to satisfy your needs!

I purchased the car brand new about 2 weeks ago, it came off the ship during a hail story and ended up getting damaged, which is good because it was way cheaper than what it should have been and therefore I opted for a CF hood rather than spendind almost 2k to get a new bonnet painted etc. I am pretty happy with the results, I was hoping for a really dark CF, it blends in really well.

model: 2014 BRZ special edition (im from australia) has a few sti goodies, eg- rims, sti short shift, racing stripes- however they just came off before i took the photos, body kit, etc

Awesome looking ride man. I like how the CF is so smooth and blends well. Love it thanks for the pics.

@Lambrzy @FRSPhil

Both cars looking great. It's hard to photograph how good CF + Black (especially Wet CF) looks against shiny black paint. The two work well together. Here's mine, wet CF Seibon Wingless Trunk for contrast. Going the CF hood route as well, but may color match parts of it to D4S.

Did the hail damage any other panels? Did they give you a discount?

Yeah minor dents on the roof and front quarter panel, theyll come out easy with PDR.

And yeah almost 12k discount (Australian $$) off the price thanks to the hail damage

Beautiful! Certainly going to have to get a CF hood now. Where did you order yours from if you don't mind me asking?

got mine from an ebay seller who specialises in carbon fibre parts. Im not too happy with it to be honest, theres two tiny dents that have shown up in the weave. nobody would notice it but my eyes go to it every time, it simply cant be unseen! lol

its not a 2 thousand dollar hood, it was about 800 bucks so you get what you pay for. its not the best quality shit, its just for the look basically, so keep that in mind if youre going to buy one
