Gran Turismo Academy drivers win major real world race
Not sure if this has been posted already but a few days ago some GT Academy graduates won the 2015 Bathurst 12 Hour race in Australia.
The race came down to 2 laps after the race was restarted due to a safety car (there were 20 safety cars in total during the race  ).Anyway, the last 2 laps had some great racing. What a crazy finish! Surprising that Chiyo was able to put bus-lengths on the other drivers over the last 1-2 laps.

Good race finish. It is just amazing that after 12 hours or 24 hours in the case of Daytona it comes down to a 2 or 3 lap sprint to the finish after a late yellow.

You can see the driving skill and response time after the GTR took first place, that Chiyo was the best driver there. His turns were tighter, his entry and exit speeds seemed higher and he had great timing as well.
