My autocross experiance 7th of Feb 2015

So after owning my BRZ for a year and a half and after quite a few track events (road race/ autocross) I can finally say that I have nailed the setup to give amazing handling on the autocross track. On the 7th of Feb 2015 I participated in round 3 of the Bahrain International Circuit Auto X and managed to win my class and get the 3rd fastest overall time!!!!! The following are the key mods to my car and the suspension and alignment settings for anyone interested in replicating the setup:

Suspension: KW Clubsport coilovers set at 1" fender gap front and rear for ride height. With front compression at 7 clicks from full stiff and front rebound at 10 clicks from full stiff. Rear compression at 9 clicks from full stiff and rear rebound at 7 clicks from full stiff. Sway bars are stock though I have Whiteline front and Perrin rear sway bar endlinks.

Wheels and tires: Wedsport TC-105N 17x8 42offset with Dunlop Direzza II Star Spec. Tire pressure set at 29psi front and 31psi rear.

Alignment: Front camber -2.5 , Rear camber - 2.0 ; Front Toe 0 , Rear Toe 0.

Other mods: Headers, Mid pipe, stock cat back, TRD replacement panel filter, BRZ Edit self tuned, AP 4 piston front brake kit with S100 pads front and rear.

To describe how it handles, the front end is seriously planted and has quick response and stays hooked in corner enter, mid, and exit. The rear is a bit looser but does not break away anywhere in the turn and offers good grip on corner exit (this was a huge issue for me before as I always had bad traction coming out of the corners). I found that rear compression is the fine tuning tool. If you want the rear to hook more go one click stiffer on the rear compression, if you want the rear to be looser then one click softer on the rear compression.

The next autocross is on the 21st of Feb and I hope to get some onboard footage and post a link on here.
