Help with offset
Hi everyone!
I'm thinking of purchasing ag f440 wheels in 19 x 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I can't seem to figure out the offset that I want for them though! What do you all think is a good offset? Aim is to flush wheels to fender! I'm lowered on coils to a finger gap at this moment. Advice? Tip? Opinions? |

Good luck finding tires. Selection will be quite Limited.
(There may be less than 5 people on this forum with 19" wheels on the 86) |

I actually know a couple people rolling on 19s so tires aren't much of a problem :P
Just the offset on these wheels Brainstorming by looking through a bunch of pics with specs through my phone 👎 |

I'm no wheel expert or anything so take this with a grain of salt, but wouldn't the offset be the same no matter what the diameter is? So an 18x9.5 +35 would be the same as a 19x9.5 +35? Going off of that assumption, you could just research cars that are running staggered fitments in 18's and get a feeling for what you like. I know there are at least a handful of guys running those sizes.

Perch clearance issues with wide wheels, add in larger diameters for possibly more perch clearance issues.
Anyway OP, I suggest asking in the "will this fit" thread stickied at the top.

Hey guys - I came across these Rota Torque 17x9 +30 wheels http://store.wheeldude.com/17x9-rota...00-e30-73.html and am strongly considering it. However, before I pull the trigger will these work with my current setup?

+40 or so is a good spot to start with 19s in those widths.
Offset is going to be the same for fitment +/- a few mm with larger diameter wheels simply because they will fill the fenders more with larger diameter wheels/tires. I'd say just go with 18s since you want a larger wheel but it's your car to do what you want with. 18s would just make life a lot easier.
