ugh side mirror :(
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was backing into a covered parking space and tapped drivers side mirror on a wooded post because I am idiot who apparently can't pass a parking test. Sigh spend 4 years parallel parking a mini-van with 0 issues then 1 year into the little sports car I go and do this. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have found some non oem replacement parts for $95 and the install looks simple enough: Remove inside door panel, disconnect mirror, remove olds mirror, install new mirror, connect new mirror, reattach inside door panel. I still found the little black plastic that I chipped off. I might see I can I reattach it just so there isn't a sharp edge on the car before I get it fixed. Any idea what a dealership will charge me? |

The new OEM part from subaru is $215
http://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru_201...1036CA091.html NON-oem is only $94 or $88 on ebay http://www.am-autoparts.com/Subaru/B...96/898971.html http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mirror-Power...8ec34d&vxp=mtr Any one of a reason why I shouldn't try the non-oem part first? The base color of the plastic looks like a pretty close match and for that price I could replace both cheaper than 1 oem. |
