Rev always limit to 4400 when I add RR features

Hello everyone, I'm new to ecutek and my BRZ is automatic. I have a trouble, when I add RaceRom features to my stock ROM, the engine always limit rev to 4400RPM Although I did not adjust any parameters, What's wrong with my ROM?

With a China-Spec BRZ automatic, you should be using the "O" series ROM, one of the following:

  • ZA1JA01O
  • ZA1JA02O
  • ZA1JA03O

with A03 being the most current.

This could be a launch control limit, or the ECU is in limp mode for some reason and limits RPM.

Which ROM was on the car stock, and which ROM did you flash with RR added?

Thanks for you reply!
My car rpm limit in a full throttle acceleration, any speed, and I'm not enable the launch control function.
My stock rom is ZA1JA01O.

Thank you for your reply!
1.My car stock ROM is ZA1JA01O, and I just add RR to this ROM.
2.The launch control is not enabled in my tune.
3.I think the ECU is in limp mode, when I change the Limiters->Rev Limit #1 to 7450/7100, the rev limit return to normal.

I think I found the cause of the problem. See the screenshot attached. The stock JA01O ROM Rev Limit #1 was different with other ROMs, I can't understand why they make this different ?!

That would be it! Be sure to set rev limit #1 and rev limit #2 tables to the same values.

Looks like rev limit #2 was set properly, and rev limit #1 was set low for some reason. Not sure why - looks like an error in the stock ROM. I'll notify EcuTek about it.
