FA20 engine

Toyota 86 standard motor.

Not an import with unknown history. Pulled from my own 86 which I purchased new 18 months ago. Car had 16,000kms when motor was removed.

No issue with motor what so ever. Happy to provide warranty for piece of mind.

I had it removed (professionally) as I decided to do a Lexus V8 swap.

According to Toyota, you only have to service these motors every 20,000kms, and even then they only use cheap generic oils. So even though I had free servicing, I instead paid to have my car serviced every 4000kms using TRD recommended Motul fluids. (I still have some which I'll include with the motor, as the oil grade is unique to this engine)

Toyota replacement price for this motor is over $9000 (at trade price, retail is more like $12k)

Great opton for a race team as a spare, or a performace shop / engine rebuilder wanting to familiar themselves with this motor and start offering aftermarket parts and such.

Inspection welcomed (although its already out of the car) and as I said I'm confident in the motor condition so would offer warranty.

Good stock option for an engine wholesaler? Seeing as there's no other motor available second hand, if someone needed a motor then the repairer would have to source from Toyota. But as this type of decision is often governed by an insurance company, if there was a cheaper option (eg stock from an engine wholesaler) then they'd go that way.

I would also agree to a confidentiality condition of sale, where that I would agree to never disclose the buyers identity; if required.

Note: although I have a turbo kit for sale, and I did bolt the turbo kit to the motor and car, we never ran it. This motor has not been run with the turbo.

Motor complete. Includes heads, block, manifolds, injectors, throttle body, ac, alternator; everything. Even have the engine mounts if you want them.

$5000 AUD to your door.
