TRD rear diffuser problem

Howdy y'all!
I just bought a TRD rear diffuser for my RS 1.0 in hopes it would fit.
Turns out it doesn't because of the exhaust is different. Helpful suggestions plz!
Anyone else ran into this problem and is there anyway around it?

I think the exhaust is different, AND the rear bumper is different from the original TRD bumper, so I dont think you'll get it to fit unless you are really good with carbon fiber casting :P

BTW: Welcome to the forums!

By diffuser, are you referring to the stainless steel TRD diffuser that bolts to the JDM TRD muffler? If so, there's no bumper modifications to the car, but only the JDM TRD muffler has places for it to bolt to. I suspect the muffler on the new 1.0 does not have these, but it's not inconceivable that it could be attached by a good muffler place.

If that is the diffuser he is talking about, then yes, it should be doable, but i was thinking of this kind of diffuser:

Yes, it is the stainless steel trd diffuser.
Let's say do switch to the JDM exhaust, i notice something, on my RS the piping entrance is being fed through the middle, while the JDM is to the left, i believe? Would i need to change that whole exhaust system? So far thinking about going out to a shop and getting it fabricated on there

On mine, all I had to swap was the muffler...it bolted directly to the stock mid-pipe.

Not sure how yours is setup...don't know how many pieces are different from the stock FRS exhaust. I can't imagine that the overpipe is different...maybe even the front pipe is just like stock. Don't know, but if you could get aftermarket (I have JDL) front pipe and midpipe it may be all you need. Seems a long way to go just to add the diffuser though...it's cool and all, but doesn't really show up when just looking at the car.

Cheapest route might be finding someone on here who has pulled their stock frontpipe and midpipe and would like to get them out of their garage! Straight bolt in.

Could someone please tell me what the difference is on those two kits? The yellow one, is that possible to order? The rear and sides looks better IMO.

I believe the RS1.0 pieces are VIN locked
They're also extremely expensive lol
