OEM Caliper Boot/Seal Kit

The original boots are shot and I'd like to rebuild the calipers before heading to Sebring in January. Does anyone know where I can find a complete kit or a place I can order both front and rear kits?

I've found numerous places online, but they are vague in telling you if it's both front and rear or if it's front and both sides.

If anyone has ordered the OEM spec kits before, I'd love to know where you bought them.

Thanks!

Toyota Caliper rebuild kits usually comes in sets of front axles and rear axles.
So if you were to order a front rebuild kit, it should come with 4 square seals, 4 dust boots, caliper rebuild lube, 2 brake line crush washers, and slider pin dust boots.

hope that helps

The OEM kits aren't terribly expensive and come with seals for both calipers per axle so you only need one rear kit and one front kit. It's even better if you can get your dealer to pricematch, to say Heuberger's online price. My local dealer does it.

Here's the part numbers and the online pricing to match.
Front: 226297CA000
Rear: 26697XA000

I don't have the slightest clue why the rears cost double the fronts :p

As far as aftermarket options, someone else would know better. They do tend to be pretty vague as far as quantity and they're hard to find compatibility for. I ordered a set for my old car on Amazon from Centric. Good quality seals, wrong dang size.

From what the good folks at Essex Brakes say, if you're tracking your car you may want to wait on the rebuild until after Sebring so long as the other seals are good. Track temperatures tend to destroy dust boots, so you'd just end up having to rebuild them AGAIN.

Im running wrx 4-pots and get my rebuild kits from rockauto. Literally like $8 a set. Im about to rebuild again since the boots got torn up a bit after a couple track days and hard driving. lasted about 1.5 years.

Thanks everyone. I ordered the rebuild kits last week for a total of $50 shipped. Sounds like this might be a somewhat average price. I've ordered a few other things to try and get them to last longer. Will have to monitor them closely and see what happens. I want this done before Sebring, as the boots are in poor shape and it's a very LONG drive down there from Iowa!

I appreciate the links and offers for discounted pricing. Sounds like there will be better options when it needs to be done again.
