Noob question about OFT

So I recently finally got myself the first mod that would benefit from a tune. Grimmspeed Intake. Now my mod list in order from now on will be catback -> header and than I will probably stop at that point and focus on tires and suspension. See that intake header and exhaust will be the only thing that would really benefit from a tune, should I wait till I have all the parts on the car before I go for a OFT? Does OFT only have certain combo of modification maps available for download? What if i want a tune that is specific to my parts that is not available on OFT website?

Or would be the better route be to get a OFT now tune it to my intake and than retune each time I add on new pieces? Thanks guys!

Retuning is really easy. If you really want to make a difference go intake -> header -> catback. OFT will have no effect with the catback.

So if I add any new parts I can just download the corresponding file from OFT and flash it? Shouldn't the tune be tailor made for specific combination of parts and the fuel available locally?

Do I have to use Windows laptop use OFT? Is there Mac software or am I able to use VMware or boot camp?

They couldn't have a tune for every possible combination of parts their would be thousands of tunes.

Basicly all tunes are for stock intake
Stage 1 totally stock cars
Stage 2 UEL for uel catless headers
Stage 2 EL for EL catless headers

Three fuels are catered for 91/93 pertol and E85 ethanol

if you have a non standard intake then no specific tune although they have done some grimspeed intake tunes. With other intakes just scale your MAF sensor for intake see links below

You can probably just copy the grimspeed intake maf scale from the stage 1 tune to the stage 2, not sure if other changes were made.
see the oft tips link below.
