OFT windshield mount

For anyone looking for a way to mount their OFT who also owns a GoPro, I came up with a pretty simple mounting solution.
I used the GoPro suction mount on the windshield, and attached the flat adhesive mount to the back of the OFT.

So far it works great, and didn't cost me anything (as I already had all the GoPro bits).

I also use the same setup with a spare iPhone case for mounting the phone for track days (using Harry's Lap Timer app).

I just did this, but I mounted it to the front little triangle window. I'll have to slide it off everytime I get out of the car but I don't like anything obstructing my windshield. Thanks for the great idea! I'll post pics of mine when I have a chance.

Sure, as long as you don't mind drilling holes into your HVAC lines... anything is possible with power tools

Lol I figured :P I don't mind but kind of curious as to why it hasn't been widely done. Seems like a clean placement considering the tablet would be mounted further down and away.

I had the same idea, until I looked at the size of the OFT connector and the size of hole it would require.
