Commercials for cars you rode in as a kid

This might betray some folks' ages, but it's fun to look up the ridiculous commercials for the cars you spent most of your childhood riding around in. For me, it's mainly these three:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njMQUfA8RK8"]Pontiac Bonneville commercial (1989) - YouTube[/ame]

Have a tough time finding commercials for the cars I rode in as a kid (if they exist they will be black and white)!

Oh, and the truck my dad had for much of my childhood! Minus both doors and most of the box from 1965 to 1969 when in finally died for good. This is the first vehicle I can actually remember riding in. Since there were no doors and no seatbelts every time I got in my dad's instructions were always "now remember, hold on tight" (I was 6 years old when he took the doors off)

After our family expanded to 3 boys in 1965, my Dad bought one of these land boats...complete with the wood paneling, of course. I recall many a time riding in the 'way back'.

This is exactly what my dad replaced his pickup with (see post above) right down to the colours in your ad.
It was only 4 years old and was already rotted halfway to the door handles, the heater didn't work and the tailgate was wired shut.
Was also the first car I drove on the road (I would have been 10-11)

I was so pissed when my Dad sold this a year before I started to drive after he had owned it for over 2 decades (57 Bel Air)...

Cool thread. I never thought to look for a commercial for my little Opel GT.

The Manta was my first. Bought it with $140 in newspaper route money.
