200mm Double Din Options
Ive been holding off buying a head unit hoping that a good head unit with a 200mm face for that fits our cars properly without a dash kit becomes available in the US. I know the CA-FI is like this, but sound quality from it seems to get mixed reviews and that is important enough to me to steer me away from it.
Iv'e also seen the DDX630WBT http://www.kenwood.com/india/car/vis...ion/ddx630wbt/, but it is not produced for the US market, and not everyone has been successful in getting one shipped here. Does anyone know if Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer, Sony, etc. will be bringing a 200mm unit to North America anytime soon, or if I have possibly overlooked one? |

Metra Electronics makes (or at least use to make) an entire series of OEM fit NAV radios, including the "Toyota" size. They don't get the highest of reviews though. I actually bought one at one point but it was DOA so I returned it and never pursued it further.

TheVoiceOfReason if you know anyone coming from South East Asia like the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore or HK then you could ask em to buy the head unit for you.

Or just order the unit from Australia, might be easier to get it into the USA.
I did find an reliable australian seller on ebay, but I'm offshore and ebay wont work so I can't copy the link atm..

If I was going to order another OS unit, I'd get one form Hong Kong so the radio will work. You won't be able to add SXM since units made for outside the US don't have that capability.
