WHAT ARE THE BEST UEL HEADERS?
I have my decisions more towards Borla, JDL, or Tomei UEL headers. Which one would be the better one in terms of performance and sound?

Power wise, not apple to apple as we have different NA mods. But sound wide, i feel the Tomei has a more distinct burble, perhaps its "more unequal", if there.is such word but sound quality, i feel the JDL has a deeper, better sounding tone while the Tomei is slightly raspier which abit higher in pitch JDL has optional cermic coating from factory, and Tomei has prob shorter leadtime Thats abt i can tell ya |

thanks for the help! I do like the deeper tone, so I'll look into the JDL. I have the new Greddy Supreme SP exhaust on the car and I was thinking whether it would be a good combination.

It's too bad @GrimmSpeed doesn't make any exhaust systems for the BRZ/FRS. I would take one in a heartbeat.
Because of that, I was thinking of going full on Perrin. Like I said though, if GrimmSpeed made one, i'd go all GrimmSpeed mods on my BRZ.

I consistently see the JDL uel headers associated with the +200hp na cars. JDL looks like it has highest top end gain for a uel where as the borla usually has best low end gains, not sure about the tomei but the openflash headers I believe fall in between but someone can correct me

Can anyone confirm that the Tomei headers are not made in their Japan factory? I heard a few members saying that they are made in Taiwan.
