Question on series blue headlight replacement

Ate you able to keep the height adjustable xenon lights if I were to switch to the Spec-D headlights? I couldn't find anything by searching, but I am on mobile and the mobile search sucks...

I don't know what height adjustment you are referring to, as in does the BRZ have automatic height adjustment? That I don't know.

All modern headlight housings have adjustments you can make manually so that the beam is up enough to project onto the road ahead without being so high that its directly in the eye of oncoming traffic.

If you have automatic height adjustment on the BRZ headlight and the Spec D does not mention this feature then you will lose automatic height adjustment. If you are talking about the manual height adjustment, then Spec D should have that.

I think he's referring to the ability to adjust the headlight height electronically from inside the vehicle. There is a little wheel next to the switch that dims the instruments which goes from 0-5. These positions lower the cutoff of the headlights to avoid blinding people with the low-beams when you've got junk in your trunk.

If you flip it all the way to 5 you can watch the cutoff slowly drop down to a ridiculously low level. Kind of fun :P

Yeah that. The series blue has a little wheel that you can use to change the height of the beams from inside the car.

So it's not automatic, but electronic controlled.

All BRZ's have it, and no, the Spec-D headlights don't have the motors and IIRC they take an H1 bulb, meaning they don't have HID spec projectors (so you'd get worse output)

Yeah, from a conversation I had with a guy who does vision headlights and modifications it's not worth switching from the xenon lights, so stock I stay.
