Rev Hang Issue

Anyone know a fix to this rev hang issue when the shifter is in gear but clutch is in?

If I am coming to a stop and clutch in, the revs will often time hang at 1.5 - 2k rpms. They will stop hanging if a. i put it in neutral or b. come to a complete stop.

If I cruise down the freeway and clutch in but leave the car in gear it will rev hang at 2k rpms.

No vaccum leaks as verified by pressure testing and smoke testing.

This has only happened to me when I added to much timing when I was trying to reduce cold start noise.

I remember seeing the delicious guys reporting this as well..

"Often" as in every single time? I have had this too and you're right, clutch is in/in gear and rolling to a stop. Not often in my case but when it does occur, I just blip the throttle and the rpms drop back down. I'll pay more attention to it. Interesting what it could be.

Every time yes. Blipping the throttle doesn't work for me but you are on Jamesm tune and I am on Toan tune so might be a little different.

I do know Delicious Tuning has stated that all their tunes eliminate the "rev hang issue" that has crept up recently.
