Tricky question

Hi guys,

I want to know if this idea would work, on the stock dash you have you Fuel gauge, water temp, rev counter with LCD display of speed and your speedo.

Would it be possible to remove this item take it apart and remove the speedo and the needle and fit a gauge may it be MAF,Oil whatever?

Thank you.

Not sure, but Perrin makes a gauge mount that covers the view of the analog speedometer and you can put a gauge in the left side fan enclosure if you so desire.

It is a circuit board back there, and I believe one single piece. You're not going to be able to remove a section of the board.
You COULD block out all the light coming from the speedo (put something in front of the circuit board), then cut out the speedo fascia and do whatever you want there, but i don't think you'd have enough room behind to make them sit flush to the tach (aforementioned circuit board is sitting there)
