Question OEM Audio Plus System vs Reference?

$1,200 for the original $1,500 for the Reference system. As far as I am aware, the reference system adds front subwoofers upgrade right beside the tweeters on the dash. I am not a Bass junkie so I feel the original system should do me fine.

If anyone has experienced both systems your input would be greatly appreciated. I think $300 for a noticeable quality increase would be worth it, but I have no experience with the reference kit. Thanks in advance!

No. Both systems disable the midrange dash speakers. The reference system replaces the speakers in the doors.

I made the switch and definitely found a significant improvement, especially in the mid-range and tighter bass control. If you can afford it, go for the reference.
