I had these professionally installed, so they perfectly got the new flasher from Tom's switched in. I then attempted to switch out the flasher from Tom's for a TapFlasher and it was very difficult. I basically just did it cave man style and yanked it off with the Tom's flasher ending up in pieces. The TapFlasher is highly recommended tho if you get the Tom's. Just get it before hand and have the pros switch it out during install. I blew a fuse switching it out myself b/c I didn't disconnect the battery before hand. It was a hassle.
