Short Road Trip

A few days ago the wife and I drove the loop from Palm Desert on hi way 74 to Mountain Center, then hi way 243 through Idyllwild down to Banning. This is a twisty scenic road, climbing up to 6,000 feet. perfect for the FRS. We stopped at the Paradise Valley Cafe for a real nice lunch. All in all a very nice 4 hour drive.

Maybe we could make this a FT86 club cruiz some time.

You're absolutely right about nothing fun around Vegas.

I was thinking about going down to drive the length of Angeles Crest/Hwy 2, have lunch in Pasadena somewhere, then driving back. It would be a full day's trip though.
