Question Is it possible to get hydro lock through car wash?

Hey guys,

So I'm waiting for the gf in the city and figured I'll give my baby a nice wash through the touchless, as I'm watching water come through the shitty seals on the windows, nuetral, handbrake on, car starts chugging going down to 400 rpm and rev hunting. I watched like an eagle and did that for about 30 secs. When I went to pull forward slowly before I even started to let the clutch go I touched the gas and came super close to a stall, shook the car.

Popped the hood to inspect after an their was some splashing on both edges of the engine bay, and down by the bottom of the skid plate under the headers.
I know the intake tube is tucked under the bumper, but if high pressure water is being shot up from below could some make its way into the intake?

Stock air box just k&n drop in, 45,000km, same gas as usual, I've read about the rev hunting issue but my car has the latest stock tune and never had that problem anyways.

Theories? Once I'm home and can grab my 10m for easy removal I'll see if I can see any signs in the air box.

Thanks everybody have a wonderful, Ebola free day.

Short answer: no.

Long answer: you probably just got some water on electronics or the MAP sensor. Just dry it out with compressed air or alcohol.
