PoltART's BRZ
I thought I would start a build thread for my car. I recently (2 weeks ago) picked up a Series Blue BRZ. I ended up trading in my 05 S2000 for it. Interestingly enough the S2000 I wanted since I was in middle school, however as soon as I saw the BRZ and discovered how affordable it is I just had to have it! So on impulse I got one. I love it! I did research before commiting to it and searching this forum quite a bit reading peoples reviews of the car and comparison to the S2k (and how it is an unfair comparison) In the end I am satisfied with the power and I love the handling of the car.
So I love it! I don't plan to do anything major such as a supercharger until warranty runs out, but I will start with other stuff once I get the money for it. #1 priority right now is getting my snow wheels/tires. Here are a few pics. 1. My s2000 that I traded in. 2. My current baby. 3. My other Daily Ride during the summer. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I am currently trying to sell my S2k parts to get more for this car, but there was a group by that I could not pass on.
I got my Valenti tail lights in the mail today, quick 20 min install (if that.) They are sweet! I will have to go out and get some better pics soon. ![]() ![]()

Very nice... Graphics on bike are cool as well.
I take it you're going to miss the S2000 since it was the car you always wanted when you were younger, no?

Thanks man.
Kind of actually. The reason I always loved the car so much is because it really stood out to me. It was one of the most unique looking cars I have seen. So I made it a life goal to own one. The same thing happened when I saw the BRZ. The first pic I saw was with the rocket bunny kit, and I was blown away! Same week I was at the dealer working out the deal. The power of the S2k was nice, but I love this car a lot more. Plus I always wanted a hardtop for the S2k, and so I never really cared too much for the convertible feature. So it wasn't a loss at all. Either way, I am very happy with the BRZ and I don't think I want to go back.
