Most will say save money get a drop in filter.
With having a aftermarket CAI myself I can say that your not really going to get much other than bling. |

Why not the TRD intake, filter is much larger? This way it retains all your warrenty if you have issues later.

For the record I love it. In hindsight though I wish I had stayed stock because when I go FI it will have to come out anyways. |

Grimmspeed intake has a group buy going on. Looks to be one of the best.

$30-40 drop-in panel filter is all you really need unless you're going to do a lot more mods, like a full header-back system, tune, etc. Even with a tune and header-back, I'll be sticking with just a panel filter. No need to have engine bay looking like it's begging for a ticket.

Drop-in filter. FT86SF did a series of dyno tests showing that a drop-in will net nearly the same gains as any of the intake systems on the market for way less money. Throw the drop-in of your choice in there and spend the savings on something the car needs more.

Drop in and call it done. Intakes are a waste of money. Get a tune and a header. Best gains for power

As others have said intakes are generally a waste grimmspeed also did extensive testing showing many actually lose power with the addition of some bad intake systems

The skunk 2 intake is yet to be proven. There are no real independant dynos for it and no indication of how it effects the MAF scaling. A drop in filter as others have said is 95% as good as the good intakes on the market and heaps cheaper. The grimmspeed intake has had a lot of r&d and makes power without changing your AFRs.
Also don't expect big gains from the intake side of the engine. The best NA gains are from a tune and a good header at the moment.
