Need help buying Subaru BRZ

Hey guys,

I am planning on buying this used Subaru BRZ 2013 which is driven 22,000km and has had all the mods on it since every km after 1000km. I am a newbie to the modification scene but have been more into show and shine in the past. Since you guys are pros I have pasted the list of mods on the car and I really want to know whether or not the parts complement each other or I have a little work to do. Please keep in mind that I live in the Middle East and it is bloody hot and the owner has modified it accordingly. He is an owner of a very famous garage for tuning in UAE but I still want your take on this. For example, does the Stage 1 clutch complement the stage 2 turbo or do I need to upgrade? etc.

Please ask any further questions if you guys need clarification and thanks a lot!

Take the car to an unaffiliated shop to have them perform a pre-purchase inspection. I'm not sure about over there, but stateside, the seller is legally required to allow you to do this. Do not go to a shop the seller recommends, find one of your own. This costs around $100 over here, again, not sure about UAE.

No one on this board could give you a valid opinion, based on the mod list. If the mods are that extensive, it will need to be looked at, in person. The quality of the work done and tune would determine if I would even consider purchasing the vehicle.

Keep in mind, based on the mods, this is a high risk/high reward scenario.

I would steer clear, unless you want a car with these exact mods.

These cars run hot stock. Factor in turbo and the temperature there (in addition to sand) and it may be more trouble than its worth. Just my 2 cents, but it definitely needs proper cooling in your conditions.

I wish I could do that but the main issue is that turbos and these types of mods are illegal in the country. However, I do have connections and I can easily transfer the car in my name and pass the tests. They do offer these services but these people dont have the knowledge of turbos and mods, they only know the basic parts of cars and can report if they see a turbo. I think it is a good idea however to take the car to another tuning garage and get it checked. if I buy the car, do expect me to be an active member. Are there any bad characteristics linked to any of the parts, like mileage affected greatly, overheating etc.? Also, maybe someone else can comment on this as well. All the parts are brand new and I love the setup.
Thanks a lot guys

AVO runs cooler than most other turbo setups. you'll be fine street driving, but will need to focus on more cooling Mods at the track.

Its all in the tune.
