Welp Locked my Trunk Help
So my car was suffering from this issue from day one I never raised hell about it because the button in the back just under wing worked fine and would open the trunk.
But the key and button inside the never worked, which I figured was odd, seemed like it was a common issue with the car, and alot of the time its the button in the trunk being pre-activated. So, me being a smart problem solver, I go inside the trunk, press button close trunk annnndd.... locked... xD Now button on back doesn't work, and neither do other two, and me being the intelligent individual I was at the time didn't lower rear seats before doing this just incase never thinking this would happen. Help? Way to get trunk open from inside or get past rear passenger seats? |

There's a way to fold down the seats from the inside. You can search on YouTube.

Yeah, I never tried it before, but it looks like it'll snap right back into place. But there's always the risk of breaking a piece. But in your case, desperate times call for desperate measures. =)

Use the physical key inside the key fob. There's a keyhole in the trunk lid.

I'll have to look for said keyhole I never saw one before.
Anyway I followed the video doesn't do any damage, and it did work so thats good. Will have to get trunk serviced though so FoB and button inside car work. |

Please tell me you had climbed inside the trunk with the keys and were posting from inside!
If so, there should be a glow in the dark emergency handle to pull to get out. I guess you've checked the button in the trunk for valet to disable opening, right? Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in order. But yeah, RTM sometime and you'll learn some stuff. |
