Highest build quality cat-back?
The penny-saving process has been painfully slow.
I might go in for a cat-back exhaust system soon. I like the TRD system on the basis that it's dealer-sanctioned, but I don't know where it is on the "build quality" index. I won't buy anything that's not made in Japan or USA from good stainless. I want nice TIG welds. I don't plan to ever go forced-induction. Not too concerned with power gains at the expense of sound quality. I HATE little Civics that sound like they're farting their way down the road. My priorities in order of importance: 1) BUILD QUALITY. 2) SOUND QUALITY. 2) POWER GAINS. Thanks for your help! :-)

My Perrin is bulletproof rock solid. No rust, no leaks, still looks brand new after more than a year on the car.

This poll suggets that you've actually seen each system in person? Since most of us haven't - it's really a poll as to which one we own or want to own I suppose. Keep that in mind. Happy with my greddy evo- esp for sound.
Power gains on cat back only? Mostly in your head.

I'd disregard power gains as whatever cat back you go for will give you more or less the same.
Sound is subjective, you'll have to watch some videos to give you a good idea. All stainless steel exhausts will be more or less the same quality, given a few exceptions for certain brands (Milltek for one) That'd be worth looking into. Titanium items will naturally be the best quality you could get hold of. |
