New owner of the cool 2015 Yamaha FZ-07. Trying to figure out what gear (aside from helmet) that I want to get. I'm thinking leather Dainese but I'm worried it won't breath enough in 80+ weather. I don't want to pass out while riding from heat stroke.

This is my 3rd bike. I haven't owned a bike for about 8 years. Previously I had a 96 Honda CBR 600 and a 01 Yamaha R1. Both had too aggressive of a riding style so I'm happy the naked bikes caught on so I'd have something cool to ride. I almost got a Ducati Monster 696 instead but this is better value and more reliable, and still looks and sounds cool (with exhaust change).

Great looking bike - I've always wanted to learn how to ride. Once I'm done with school and have a real job I plan to take classes. Enjoy it!

I've had a CorTech GX Air with Leather for summer riding for the last 5 years.
It's still in fair shape. It's in the helmet that gets dampest.

Tourmaster Transition series 2 for when it chills out later in the season.

Both mainly textile. Good for commuting duty.
If you want to get out on the track, full leathers are the way to go.
Just get used to being sweaty.
