Very strange choice for body style for that technology.

No one cares how many foot pounds of torque the motor produces for god's sake, I wish they would stop talking about it. The Tesla motor spins to 14000 rpm, does any car motor outside F1 do that? No. A forklift motor maxes out at 3000 rpm, does any car motor do that? No.

so it appeals to old school enthusiasts. Although some will probably say this is perversion of one of the greatest icons of the American auto industry, I would take this over any of Tesla's offerings.

So do you have to have your pit crew in a follow car with a generator so you can recharge?

30 minute quick charge? From an outlet? unlikely.

Looks cool but probably a show car for the wealthy.

Well just for a data point, an off the shelf YASA axial flux motor can do 85kW continuous.

That converts to about 110 hp.

This car has two of those.
So a car with continuous rated 220 hp (thats not peak) that is available instantaneously at zero RPM would be quite impressive.
